The chemical engineers at Columbia 300 have created a new process in which chemical reaction dynamics have been manipulated to exploit the elastic framework found in reactive materials. This breakthrough creates longer polymer chains that create deeper pores and allows for greater built in surface friction that helps absorb oil over a longer period of time. We call this new breakthrough Elastin 6.0.
The new asymmetric Encounter core is a dynamic new shape for Columbia 300 with a low RG that centers the mass properties, creating strong mid-lane ball motion. The medium differential along with a high mass bias rating help the Encounter change direction and keep going.
The clean and angular Elastin 6.0 cover with a smooth polished finish along with the Encounter core gives you easy length through the front part of the lane and stores up energy for a strong and predictable move down lane.

John "Buh Buh" Minnick: Been wanting to punch one of these up since I saw them at a demo days held at our center. Finally had the chance yesterday. Glad I did. I needed something with just a lil more length than I have with my pin down Eruption but not as much as my pin up Freeze. Had tried a cyclone, 300c, polished 300t, they all had the length I wanted but was lazy off the spot with not much energy at the pins. Drilled the Encounter 65*x4 1/2x35*. I got exactly what I wanted. Gets thru the heads starts reading in the late mid's with a nice turn on the backside with amazing energy at the pin deck. First set no practice shots with it 700+. Then moved lanes and shot a second shift employee doubles league (four more games). Just bumped in a touch and had my line all night, shot just over 900 for 4. I highly recommend this ball, everybody needs one.

Alex Handback: Looking for backend reaction? Look no further. Hands down the strongest factory polished ball I have ever had right out of the box. I could not believe how much this thing ripped up the backends on the first 10 shots. Typically for me, a shiny ball needs to get a little bit of a track on the surface to really make the move around the corner.. not this puppy.
knock the surface down to a 2000 grit surface.. and this is a real hook monster. The Columbia 300 line is absolutely amazing this year. Check out the Encounter. you'll be glad you did.
